Student International Housing Inc. (SIH) will create an unforgettable experience in the United States with a friendly and loving host family.
SIH matches students with hosts based on certain requests and aligning personalities.
Requests are not guaranteed; however, we will try our best to meet your preferences.
Our homestay program has short- and long-term agreements, with the main agreement based on a four-week program (28 nights).
General Policies for all Hosts and Students:
-A safe, clean, and comfortable homestay with a friendly, kind, and caring family
-A Private Bedroom furnished with a bed, study desk, and chair
-Two Meals a day; Self-prepared Continental Breakfast & Dinner served by the host family (meal plan)
-Convenient bus stops with walking distance to the host family and no more than a 55 minute bus ride to school/work
-Careful screening of each host family prior to placing students within our host family network to ensure compliance of our high standards
-Students and Host Families’ rules/requests must be respected and honored throughout the duration of the program
-All issues or concerns must be communicated to SIH immediately and directly to avoid any conflict or misunderstandings
-Cultural rules, customs, and differences must be acknowledged
